Our Company
Mike Shaw
, President. Mike has been in the construction
industry most of his life. He has come from three
generations of construction builders. His grandfather was a
general contractor, his father was a contractor and then
became a civil engineer. Mike became a licensed pool
contractor in 1978 and a general contractor in 1991.
Mike studied civil engineering at Cal-Poly Technical University for two years and he studied administration at the Hubbard College for Business Administration for two years.
Mike has inspected, built, remodeled and repaired over 7,800 swimming pools, ranging from atop the 32nd floor of a hotel to residential pools, Olympic sized pools for the City of Santa Monica, the Los Angeles Air Force Base, health clubs, hotels, apartment buildings, condominiums, etc. He has installed pools on caissons, rocky conditions, sandy conditions, hillside conditions as well as normal soil conditions.
All construction work was done in conjunction with Building Departments with many cities throughout Southern and Northern California, Health Departments, Home Owner Associations, Planning Departments, Zoning Departments, Special Zoning (such as The Mulholland Corridor), Coastal Commission, government agencies such as the Federal Government Military, ADA, Fire Departments and more.

Mike holds both a General Contractor's license and a Pool Contractor's license in California (B-C53-712677).
Today after over 30 years in the business were are doing pool construction and plastering in all of the Southwestern United States. The company crews are experienced, dedicated and committed to high quality workmanship.
